About us Dr Zsolt Fekete

Dr Fekete is a member of the St. Anna Hospital Neuro and Spinal Centre, Lucerne and the spinal team of the Cham Andreas Hospital, Zug. All the doctors who work here are specialised in the treatment of patients of all ages and in diseases and changes in the spinal column.

The Neuro and Spinal Centre, Lucerne is the largest centre of this type in central Switzerland and currently has around 15 employees. The medical team, to which Dr Zsolt Fekete also belongs, is characterised by a close bond and interdisciplinary collaboration with the other doctors in the centre, other specialists and the Accident and Emergency Department. This guarantees that patients are able to be provided with the best in the most advanced diagnostics and treatment.

Dr Fekete’s portfolio includes the entire range of spinal surgery. Together with classic microsurgical discectomy or decompression, Dr Fekete has specialised, in particular, in minimally invasive fusions and stabilising techniques in the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as the sacroiliac joint. He has also gained wide experience in the field of movement-preserving surgery, such as spinal disc prosthetics and minimally invasive dynamic stabilisation, over the last 20 years.

After his specialist examination, Dr Fekete specialised in spinal surgery in Germany and in the USA. Later, he established the Spinal Centre at the Roland Hospital in Bremen, Germany, and headed this for 8 years. As well, Dr Fekete is a member of several international medical teams and actively participates in the development of new methods and implants. He conducts surgical courses in Europe and in the USA.

You will find the Neuro and Spinal Centre, Lucerne on the third floor of the hospital. Dr Fekete also has a second practice at the St. Anna Health Centre in the railway station, Zentralstrasse 1 in Lucerne. The practice in Cham is located in the main building of the Andreas Hospital.
