In 2006 we moved into a completely remodeled facility with an integrated newly constructed suite of operating rooms.
With our highly specialized equipment and our modern, air conditioned ORs, we have since then been one of the best equipped eye clinics in Europe.
Our patients are given the highest level of care on two wards, in the outpatient surgery center, in orthoptics and in the polyclinic.
To achieve the best treatment results, our specialists collaborate closely in interdisciplinary, quality-certified centers at our facility.

Our patients have direct access to TV, radio and a telephone (card) at the bedside. Internet access is available upon request.
Our facility has its own patient kitchen with tasty meals (menus and a list of optional meal selections are available at the bedside). Baggage service (fee).

Please also inquire about the currently available cultural offerings at the hospital. Directly at the eye clinic itself there is an ongoing 6-month rotation of exhibits by established and also young painters from the area.
