About us

Imaging diagnostics were resumed in May 2005 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Dr. med. habil. Michael K. Stehling at a new location in the center of the Rhine-Main area. Following on from his experiences at the Harvard Medical School and his year-long collaboration with Sir Peter Mansfield, Nobel Laureate in Medicine of 2003, Prof. Stehling is continuing his involvement in health protection and in precise and careful early detection of diseases there.

In the Institute of Imaging Diagnostics team, experts with years of experience in their own field of expertise care for patients using state of-the-art technology. They work according to international diagnosis and treatment standards as well as the guidelines of leading clinics, professional associations and government institutions.

Diagnostic Services

General diagnostic imaging:

• Ultrasound, x-ray/screening, mammography, 64-line spiral CT, two high-performanceMRI scanners open on both sides in a daylight booth

Heart and vascular diagnostics:

• Exercise ECG, spirometry, echocardiography, cardio-CT, cardio- MRI, MR angiography
• CCSVI diagnostics with optimized Haacke Protocol

Cancer screening and staging:

• Full-body MRI, diffusion MRI, MR spectroscopy, ultrasound and MRI-guided vacuum suction biopsy
• Prostate diagnostics without biopsy, endorectal MRI and MR spectroscopy
• Transperineal 3D biopsy of the prostate when carcinoma is suspected: highly accurate, painless and with no risk of infection

Optimized breast cancer screening:

• MR mammography, without exposure to radiation and compression

Fertility diagnostics

• Hysterosalpingography (HSG) and MR-HSG without exposure to radiation

Thyroid dignity diagnostics:

• Non-invasive differentiation of benign and malignant thyroid nodules

Whole-body skeletal MRI

Dynamic pelvic floor diagnostics in cases of incontinence/constipation/ pelvic floor insufficiency
