Prof. Uwe Andreas Ulrich has been the Senior Consultant of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Martin Luther Hospital in Berlin since 2006. As a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics focusing on gynaecological oncology, Prof. Ulrich specialises, in particular, in the treatment of gynaecological cancer conditions. In addition, Prof. Ulrich’s emphases also include the treatment of endometriosis and laparoscopic surgery.
The Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the Martin Luther Hospital provides a wide spectrum of treatments, ranging from the care of women during pregnancy and delivery, right up to the treatment of all benign and malignant conditions of the female sex organs and of the female breast. Patients with endometriosis or cancer conditions such as ovarian cancer (ovarian carcinoma), cancer of the neck of the uterus (cervical carcinoma), cancer of the uterus (endometrial carcinoma), cancer of the vagina (vaginal carcinoma), cancer of the vulva (vulval carcinoma) and breast cancer (carcinoma of the breast) can have confidence that they will be treated optimally by Prof. Ulrich and his team in accordance with a therapeutic concept adapted to their individual requirements.
A particular focus of the Clinic is minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, also called keyhole surgery.
