About us

Prof. Reisch is an FMH specialist in neurosurgery in Zurich. As a specialist in endoscopic surgery, he focuses on the minimal invasive surgical treatment of cerebral and spinal cord conditions. Thus, for example, cerebral conditions such as cerebral tumors, tumors of the cranial base, cerebral cysts, cerebral vascular conditions and hydrocephalus, as well as spinal conditions such as ruptured disks, are among Prof. Reisch’s treatment emphases. Prof. Reisch completed his medical studies at the renowned Semmelweis University in Budapest. He completed these in 1996, with the highest national honor, “Pro Scientia”, which is awarded by the president of the Republic of Hungary. This was followed by specialist training at the University Neurosurgery Hospital in Mainz (Director: Prof. A. Perneczky), which he completed in 2003 with qualification as a specialist in neurosurgery. Following his habilitation as the youngest university professor in Germany, he was appointed as the Principal Consultant of the hospital. Prof. Reisch worked from 2008 until 2009 as the Principal Physician at the Neurosurgery Department of the Zurich University Hospital (Director: Prof. H. Bertalanffy), before he founded the ENDOMIN Center for Endoscopic and Minimal Invasive Neurosurgery at the Hirslanden Hospital in Zurich in 2009. In 2015, together with his long-standing partner Prof. Dr. Nikolai Hopf, he also founded the ENDOMIN College, which provides numerous national and international advanced training courses, conferences and conventions on the topic of neuroendoscopy. The ENDOMIN Center in Zurich provides a high degree of specialist competence in the field of cerebral, cranial base and spinal surgery and, since its foundation, has rapidly gained an excellent reputation across cantonal and national borders. The objective of Prof. Reisch and his team is, with the aid of advanced minimal invasive surgical techniques, to achieve the optimum results safely and gently for the patient. Here, reliable and personal support for the patient, before, during and after the surgery, is a matter of course for the team under Prof. Reisch.
