Dr. (RU) Viktor Remenez, MHBA, together with his wife, Dr. Natalia Remenez, heads the NeuroRem Group AG Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery on the premises of the Lindberg Private Hospital in Winterthur. Together, as a specialist in neurosurgery and a specialist in neurology, they provide competent and comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment of conditions of the central and peripheral nervous system, as well of the spinal column. After completing his specialist examination in 2008, Dr. Remenez worked as Chief Resident in neurosurgery departments in hospitals in Germany and Switzerland for nine years before he assumed the post as Head of the Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Winterthur in 2018. In 2016, Dr. Remenez was awarded the Master’s Certificate in Spinal Surgery by the German Spinal Association (DWG). He is also the author of numerous scientific contributions in the specialist literature and is involved in Swiss and German specialist associations.
Thanks to his work as a neurosurgeon over more than 20 years, Dr. Remenez has a wide range of experience in cranial and spinal surgery. He performs minimal invasive and complex procedures to the spinal column and to the spinal cord, to the base of the cranium and for neurooncological conditions. If surgery is scheduled following a detailed diagnosis and personal consultation, Dr. Remenez will perform this at the Lindberg Private Hospital in Winterthur or at the Hirslanden Hospitals. In both cases, he utilizes advanced technology at the leading edge of medical research.
Dr. Natalia Remenez cares for patients with various neurological disorders and pain. She completed her specialist training in 2014 and, in 2016, she obtained the EMG Certificate (clinical electrophysiology) of the Swiss Clinical Neurophysiology Association. As an experienced specialist in neurological conditions. Dr. Remenez specializes in headache and other pain syndromes, vertigo syndromes, consciousness, circulation and locomotive disorders as well as peripheral nerve and muscular conditions. Patients benefit also from Dr. Natalia Remenez’ long-standing specialist experience in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis, as well as infectious bacterial and viral diseases, which include tick-borne encephalitis, borreliosis and shingles.
Dr. Natalia Remenez’ diagnostic range of services also includes a “neurological checkup” for a comprehensive clarification of individual neurological symptoms and possible risk factors. With chronic and acute conditions of the nervous system, Dr. Remenez takes the time to make a personal diagnosis and treatment plan for each patient.
Together, the two specialists at the Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Winterthur provide all patients with conditions and dysfunctions of the central and peripheral nervous system with a comprehensive range of services. Dr. Viktor Remenez and Dr. Natalia Remenez will clarify whether a surgical procedure is necessary or whether conventional treatment or even pain therapy comes into question in an individual detailed consultation.
