About us

Trained in prestigious hospitals in Germany and Switzerland, Prof. Eduard Becht has more than 30 years experience as a specialist in urology. For around 25 years, as the Senior Consultant at the Department of Urology and Paediatric Urology at the Nordwest Hospital in Frankfurt am Main, he has been responsible for the treatment of thousands of patients, focusing on uro-oncology and minimally invasive surgical treatment. Prof. Becht is certified as an advanced trainer for younger medical practitioners and has lectured at the Goethe University in Frankfurt over the last two and a half decades.
Based on independent research drawing on scientific publications, collaboration with specialist medical associations and the recommendations of a variety of institutions, Prof. Becht was recommended as an expert in urological tumours in 2016 and 2014. Thus, he is considered across Germany to be an expert in his field.
This is also apparent thanks to his work as the Senior Consultant at the Department of Urology and Paediatric Urology. The Department has extensive successful experience in the treatment of cancer of the prostate and, headed by Prof. Becht, was certified by the German Cancer Association as an Interdisciplinary Prostatic Carcinoma Centre in 2007.
As a specialist urologist, Prof. Becht operates his own surgery in Frankfurt. Within his private urology practice, Prof. Becht provides a wide range of services for the treatment of kidney stones, fertility disorders and incontinence, for example. His portfolio includes the treatment of urological tumours and he is available to give a second opinion. Consultations are held at his surgery in the afternoon, by appointment. All procedures are performed by Prof. Becht and his team at the Nordwest Hospital (www.krankenhaus-nordwest.de).
Many diagnoses are daunting for the patients and the therapeutic course before them may entail drastic changes in all areas of life. For this reason, they want to ensure that the diagnosis is correct and the recommended treatment fits in with their individual situation and they may benefit from a consultation.
Whether the confirmation of a diagnosis, the evaluation of proposed surgery or obtaining recommendations for a specialised hospital is concerned, Prof. Becht is an established specialist in the field of urology and will form his own opinion of your results following a thorough examination. Two medical opinions mean more certainty for the patient and his health.
