Dr. Sabine Keim has been the Chief Physician of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Helios Hospital, Munich West, head of the Interdisciplinary Breast and Gynecological Cancer Center and the Director of the Center for Women's Health, with a focus on gynecological oncology, since May 2016. Specialists in all subdisciplines in women's health have combined into a single team of experts at the Pasing Center for Women's Health. Following her studies in human medicine at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Dr. Keim was employed at the University Women's Hospital in Frankfurt am Main in 2004 for one year, before she moved to the Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Starnberg, where she assumed the post as Deputy Head of the Interdisciplinary Breast and Gynecological Cancer Center. From 2012 to 2016, she was the Principal Consultant, Coordinator and Deputy Head of the Interdisciplinary Breast and Gynecological Cancer Center at the Women's Hospital at the Red Cross Hospital in Munich.
Dr. Keim is the Senior Breast Surgeon, is Onkozert certified, accredited by the German Cancer Association and the German Senology Association, as well as a trained physician for German Mammography Screening, Key Communicator and Trainer for “Mamma Care” at the Rechts der Isar Women's Hospital of the Technical University of Munich (TU). Gynecological oncology is among the emphases of Dr. Keim, together with medication-based tumor treatment and surgical gynecology. Here, her service portfolio includes, above all, the treatment of all oncological conditions of the female reproductive organs (uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, vulva). The therapeutic recommendation is made in accordance with the guidelines of the Oncology Working Group (AGO). Under the leadership of Dr. Keim, the concept of obstetrics includes, together with the greatest possible safety, the creation of an above all informal atmosphere for expectant mothers and patients and encouraging individual and caring accompaniment by the experienced Pasing team of midwives. Dr. Keim and her team guarantee an individual treatment plan for breast cancer patients, tailored to the particular characteristics of the breast cancer and the personal clinical history of the patient. Plastic surgery is also integrated, for a possible reconstruction, as well as oncology, for medication-based treatment, and psychooncology, in order to stabilize the patient psychologically.
