Therapeutic Services
Techniques and Equipment
- Complete integration of imaging data and functional data into the microsurgery / endoscopic surgical planning and performance
- Cranial navigation, spinal navigation including intraoperative 3-D imaging
- Intraoperative angiography (neurovascular)
- Intraoperative cranial neuromonitoring (cortical / subcortical stimulation, MEP, SEP, cranial nerve monitoring), spinal and medullary (D-wave, MEP, SEP), at the base of the skull (cranial nerve and brain stem monitoring), neuromonitoring of microsurgery to the peripheral nerves.
Cranial
- Awake surgery for tumours in eloquent regions of the brain with functional mapping of the brain (following nTMS planning)
- Intraoperative fluorescence techniques (5-ALA; ICG angiography) for tumour surgery and aneurysm / angioma surgery
- Intraoperative Doppler sonography / cross-sectional sonography
- Full endoscopic transnasal surgery to the base of the skull and to the pituitary gland
- Full endoscopic intracranial tumour and hydrocephalus surgery
- Endoscope-assisted aneurysm microsurgery and microsurgery to the base of the skull
Spinal
- Full endoscopic spinal surgery for degenerative conditions of the spinal column
- Minimally invasive spinal surgery (all types of spinal condition; XLIF, OLIF, ALIF, TLIF, PLIF access; all types of access to the craniocervical junction) including stabilisation techniques
- Spinal vertebra replacement techniques with en-bloc resection / 360° stabilisation in all segments of the spinal column (for the appropriate oncological indication) under functional monitoring.
