Prof. Dr. med. Peter Szurman is the chief physician at the Sulzbach Eye Clinic and an internationally recognized specialist in modern eye surgery. Prof. Dr. med. Peter Szurman is one of the most renowned experts in ophthalmology and eye surgery in Germany. As Chief Physician at the Sulzbach Eye Clinic, he heads one of the largest specialized centers for surgical ophthalmology, performing tens of thousands of treatments and procedures each year. His medical focus is on minimally invasive surgery of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye—particularly for retinal diseases, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and complex corneal diseases.
