Professor Christoph A. Maurer, MD, FACS, FRCS, FEBS

Prof. Dr. med. Christoph A. Maurer is the clinic director for highly specialised visceral- and onco-surgery at the Kantonsspital Liestal. Among others, his areas of expertise include the complex tumour surgery of the entire gastro-intestinal tract, of the liver and bile ducts, as well as of the pancreas. Yet another focus is the so-called keyhole-surgery. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. med. Maurer is a specialist for diseases and surgery of the esophagus.
