Professor Dr. Konstantinos Syrigos is a renowned physician and oncologist with extensive training and experience at home and abroad. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Oncology at the First Propaedeutic Medical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens (EKPA) at Laiko Hospital and at the Oncology Clinic of Hammersmith Hospital of the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London. He received his M.D. with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine of EKPA in 1995, followed by a Ph.D. from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine of the University of London in 2000.
Professor Syrigos is currently Director of the Third Medical Clinic and Laboratory of the same name at the Faculty of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens. He also serves as Visiting Professor of Thoracic Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine in the USA and works at the Smilow Cancer Hospital of Yale New Haven Health.
His areas of expertise include lung cancer, mesothelioma, breast cancer and prostate cancer.
Professor Syrigos is also an organizer and participant in numerous medical conferences and symposia.
