Dr. Simone Heymann, MD, Dipl. Psych., neurosurgeon, pain therapist and qualified psychologist, has been the proprietor of the state-of-the-art and very well established Neurosurgery and Pain Therapy Practice in Rothrist in Switzerland since 2010. Prior to this, she was the Chief Physician of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Kaiserslautern Hospital in the Western Palatinate.
For Dr. Heymann, as an attending physician, her patients are due a relationship based on trust and dependability, which forms the basis of any treatment success. On the one hand, this succeeds thanks to a medical history taken by a qualified specialist physician and, on the other hand, thanks to interdisciplinary collaboration with specialist colleagues in a wide variety of medical fields. At the same time, continuous advanced training in theory and practice takes center stage, and so we are able to respond to the patient with the optimally adapted treatment.
A special multimodal pain therapy is utilized in the practice for the various clinical pictures. This pain therapy comprises high-intensity, interdisciplinary treatment strategies including alternative complementary medical techniques and psychotherapeutic treatment.
Dr. Heymann’s practice works in accordance with the highest international standard and in strict accordance with the guidelines of the Medical Center for Quality in Medicine (AZQ), which was developed with the Consortium of Scientific Medical Specialist Associations (AWMF e.V) and the internationally active Guidelines International Network (G-I-N).
Inter alia, Dr. Heymann is a member of the German Spinal Association, the German Neurosurgery Association, the German Pain Medicine Association, the Swiss Society for Interventional Pain Management and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
