Thanks to the three-dimensional view of the surgical area, which is magnified many times over, the instrument tips, which can move in all directions and are modelled on the human wrist, the possibility of jitter-free movements and a relaxed posture of the surgeon during the operation, robot-assisted operations are possible with a precision that cannot be achieved with other surgical methods. In addition, surgery is performed through very small incisions, i.e. minimally invasive. The overall burden for the patient is significantly reduced. The reasons for this are less blood loss, significantly reduced complication rates, less pain after the operation, barely visible scars at the end and thus a faster recovery and a shorter hospital stay.
