Dr. (IR) Ali Tabatabaei

Dr. (IR) Ali Tabatabaei began his specialization in plastic and aesthetic surgery in the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at the Ecumenical Network Hospital in Trier under the direction of Dr. Klaus Hrynyschyn. He was appointed senior physician there in 2012 after successfully obtaining his specialist title. Two years later, he took on the same position in the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at the Alfried Krupp Hospital in Essen. To further deepen his expertise in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Tabatabaei completed a specialized nine-month fellowship in Tehran, Iran, with Dr. Hadi Amali. During this time, his focus was on rhinoplasty (nose correction), aesthetic breast surgery and body contouring. After returning to Germany, he continued his career and played a key role in founding and establishing the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Kreiskliniken Darmstadt-Dieburg from 2015 to 2018. His further professional career took him to the renowned Proaesthetic clinic in Heidelberg in 2018, where he worked as head physician. Between 2021 and 2022, he then worked at the “s-thetic” clinics founded by Dr. Afshin Fatemi as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery. In October 2022, Dr. Tabatabaei took over as Section Head for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Heiligenberg Castle, returning to the region to make his expertise available to local people.

The center at Heiligenberg Castle specializes in the surgical removal and tightening of excess skin following severe weight loss. All advanced plastic surgery procedures are used to alleviate functional complaints and achieve an aesthetically pleasing and harmonious result. Dr. Tabatabaei is a full member of the German Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRÄC), is involved with Interplast-Germany and is a member of the Hessen State Medical Association.
