Since September 15, 2025, he has served as Chief Physician of the Department of Joint Surgery and Sports Traumatology at Nardini Klinikum, Zweibrücken location, in joint leadership with Dr. Burkhardt Muschalik. Prior to that, he headed the department at Klinikum Saarbrücken, where he significantly expanded the scope of joint surgery and established the hospital as a reference center for hip revision endoprosthetics.
A key focus of his work lies in the implantation and revision of hip and knee prostheses. As an experienced endoprosthetics specialist, he performs both primary procedures and complex revision surgeries—for example, in cases of loosened or infected prostheses.
