PD Dr. med. Stefan Rahm

PD Dr. med. Stefan Rahm is a board-certified specialist (FMH) in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, with a specialization in hip and pelvic surgery. Since August 2022, he has been a partner at the Joint Center Zurich at the Bethanien Private Clinic. He completed his medical training at the University of Zurich as well as at renowned institutions such as the Cantonal Hospital Baden, the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur, the Balgrist University Hospital, and the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen. In 2019, he earned his habilitation at the University of Zurich in the field of orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.

A key focus of his work is joint-preserving hip surgery, particularly hip arthroscopy, which aims to correct hip deformities and prevent the development of osteoarthritis. In addition, PD Dr. Rahm specializes in minimally invasive hip replacement and revision arthroplasty. He places great importance on individualized consultation, precise planning, and muscle-sparing surgical techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

Scientifically, PD Dr. Rahm is highly active: He has published nearly 50 articles in renowned orthopedic journals and is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for journals such as the *American Journal of Sports Medicine* and the *Archives of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery*.
