Dr. med. (syr) Amer Jomha

Dr. Amer Jomha, M.D. (Syria), is Chief of the Department of Vascular Surgery and Phlebology at Klinikum Bad Hersfeld. He has been a member of the medical team since 2011 and assumed leadership of the department in 2023. With comprehensive training at Damascus University Hospital and the University Hospital of Giessen, combined with many years of clinical experience, Dr. Jomha is recognized as an expert in the field of vascular medicine. As a board-certified vascular surgeon and phlebologist, he also holds additional qualifications as an Endovascular Surgeon and Endovascular Specialist certified by the German Society for Vascular Surgery.

At the Department of Vascular Surgery, Dr. Jomha offers a broad range of treatments, from conventional surgical procedures to advanced minimally invasive techniques. His areas of expertise include the endovascular treatment of aneurysms and all forms of circulatory disorders, vascular access (shunt) surgery, the management of chronic venous diseases, and the treatment of diabetic foot syndrome.
