PD Dr. med. Lars Eden

Associate Professor Dr. Lars Eden is the Senior Consultant of the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Section at the Shoulder and Elbow Clinic of Rummelsberg Hospital. He holds the DVSE Expert Certificate in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Dr. Eden is a board-certified orthopedic and trauma surgeon with additional qualifications in Specialized Trauma Surgery, Sports Medicine, Radiologic Diagnostics, and Emergency Medicine. He brings extensive experience in the management of complex shoulder and elbow disorders.

Expertise, Specialization & Procedures
At Rummelsberg Hospital, located just 20 minutes from Nuremberg, more than 800 shoulder and elbow surgeries are performed annually. The clinic is certified by the DVSE as a reference center for shoulder and elbow disorders. Dr. Eden’s clinical focus, in addition to the acute treatment of fresh injuries, includes the use of arthroscopic techniques and the implantation of shoulder and elbow prostheses.
