The Gastroenterology Center Bethanien in Frankfurt am Main is a renowned specialist practice for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas. An interdisciplinary team of ten experienced gastroenterologists provides patients with modern diagnostics, individual treatment concepts and a great deal of empathy - from preventive care to specialized tumor therapy. The Gastroenterology Center Bethanien is a certified colorectal cancer center (DKG).
The practice works in the affiliated doctor system at Bethanien Hospital Frankfurt, which means that inpatient care is also possible for complex cases, including intensive medical care for acute illnesses. In this context, the practice has a 24-hour emergency service.

Prof. Dr. med. habil. Fabian Finkelmeier and Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. habil. Mate are part of the CGB's ten-strong team of doctors and renowned specialists with many years of clinical and scientific experience, particularly in the treatment of liver diseases and gastrointestinal tumors. Prof. Finkelmeier has made a name for himself through his work in the field of oncological gastroenterology and hepatology. PD Dr. Knabe also has special expertise in endoscopy and is known for interventional endoscopy procedures, particularly for tumor diseases of the stomach and intestinal tract.

This is carried out in close cooperation with colleagues from Hematology and Oncology (Oncology Bethanien) and Surgery (Surgical Center at Bethanien) and Radiology (MVZ Radiology at Bethanien) on site.
