Ass. Prof. Dr. Ermis is one of only 70 female gynecologists in Germany to hold the highest certificate of the Association for Gynecological Endoscopy (AGE). This seal of approval confirms her leading position in minimally invasive surgery. She particularly emphasizes her ability to understand and meet the wishes and needs of her patients. Ass. Prof. Dr. Ermis is not only a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, but also a pioneer in the introduction of new treatment methods. In 2015, she introduced the procedure for safely removing findings from the abdominal cavity using morcellation in the pouch, which is now frequently used at the Rhine-Main MIC and Myoma Center. Ass. Prof. Dr. Ermis is also an expert for the Hesse State Medical Association and Arbitration Board, which further underlines her high level of professional expertise.
The Rhine-Main MIC and Myoma Center enjoys the highest level of recognition not only among patients, but also among specialists.
It receives the most positive ratings among German clinics, which reflects patient satisfaction. The family atmosphere in the practice, characterized by a dedicated team of highly specialized doctors and long-standing employees, also contributes to the well-being of the patients. The gynaecological practice offers numerous specialized services that guarantee comprehensive care for patients. This includes the minimally invasive removal of fibroids, including larger tumors weighing up to one kilogram, as well as scrapings and uterine endoscopies. Interventions are also carried out to support the desire to have children and to check the patency of the fallopian tubes. Diagnostic laparoscopies to clarify lower abdominal pain and operations on the ovaries or fallopian tubes are also part of the range of services. Sterilization via laparoscopy is also offered. Laparoscopic procedures such as cervicosacropexy (CESA) and vaginosacropexy (VASA) are used to treat pelvic floor prolapse and urge incontinence, allowing the uterus to be retained. As an alternative to sacropexy, fixation of the uterus, cervix or vagina in the pelvis using Dubuisson's prolapse surgery offers a low-complication solution. Laparoscopic vaginal tightening with anterior and/or posterior plastic surgery is also part of the treatment offer. The range of services also includes laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LASH), the removal of cysts, ectopic pregnancies and other findings, as well as the removal of polyps, septa and fibroids by means of uterine endoscopy and surgical hysteroscopy for mucosal ablation. The treatment of endometriosis by removing endometriosis lesions and nodes, including deep infiltrating endometriosis, is also performed. Total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) is offered for the complete removal of the uterus. A new approach to the treatment of pelvic floor defects in the anterior and middle compartments, particularly in older patients, is the SRS implant mesh, which allows the uterus to be retained. Laparoscopic repair of a lateral defect (lateral repair) and repair of pelvic floor prolapse after partial removal of the uterus by laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy are also performed. This can also be performed in combination with a hysterectomy (laparoscopic sacropexy) or with preservation of the uterus (laparoscopic hysteropexy).
Ass. Prof. Dr. Ermis' dedication and advanced treatment methods have helped countless women overcome pain and gain a new quality of life. Her practice stands for the highest level of professional competence, individual care and outstanding treatment results.
