Dr. René Malzkorn, M.D. is a board-certified surgeon and recognized spine specialist with many years of experience in the conservative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. At his private practice in Nagold, he treats conditions affecting the spine, joints, muscles, tendons, and fascia using modern, non-surgical treatment methods.
A particular focus of his work is on innovative treatment approaches such as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) and Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT). These therapies are used, among other indications, for chronic tendon disorders, calcific shoulder tendinopathy, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and other orthopedic conditions.
His range of services also includes injection therapies, acupuncture, cryotherapy, medical taping, and targeted muscle training. Treatment is complemented by comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, spinal assessment, muscle function analysis, and laboratory testing.
In addition to treating existing conditions, Dr. Malzkorn is increasingly dedicated to the fields of longevity and preventive medicine, with the goal of preserving mobility, performance, and overall health over the long term.
Dr. Malzkorn has been running his private practice in Nagold since 2010. Since 2011, he has also served as a consulting physician at the Max Grundig Clinic in Bühl, where he leads the Orthopedic Check-Up program.
