About us ADUS Clinic

The ADUS Clinic is a Specialist Orthopaedics Surgery in the Zurich Unterland, Switzerland. In line with the slogan ‘simply uplifting’, patients from across the region are offered easy access to tried-and-tested treatments for the musculoskeletal system, with the aim of remedying their own problem with a ‘simply uplifting’ feeling.

Under the Medical Director Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Erggelet and with PD Dr. med. univ. Patrick Vavken as Chief Consultant Orthopaedics & Traumatology, the ADUS Clinic is a clinic run by medical professionals with a focus on medicine and the patient. At the same time, this joint senior management team of two highly specialised consultants ensures a foundation of first-class care. Prof. Erggelet in the Knee and Hip Surgery department has a highly established international reputation, while PD Dr. Vavken in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery has also made an excellent name for himself.

Based on the personal background of this senior management team, the ADUS Clinic has honed a special focus on cartilage treatment and joint-preserving arthrosis therapy, whether regenerative non-surgical procedures, joint-preserving surgery and surgical cartilage replacement and repair or, as a last resort, surgical joint replacement.

At the ADUS Clinic, nothing is left to chance – from the quality of the treatment to patient-oriented care. That applies to all fields of the privately managed hospital, where patients are treated either as outpatients or inpatients – and of course also to the clinic’s flagship, the Department of Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine and Traumatology.

In order to ensure a permanently high level of care, which has come to characterise the ADUS Clinic, the Dielsdorf location relies on modern quality management and continuous improvement to patient safety. This is the only way to guarantee that the sophisticated processes can be systematically optimised in the long run. The goal is clear: The quality of the medical services and patient satisfaction should be measurably far above average.
